Ruth Green founder of Ruth Green Nutrition has always had a passion for food, fitness and wellbeing. After actively participating in pilates classes for the past 12 years, she has decided to incorporate her nutrition and pilates training to provide unique classes for her clients. Pilates is designed to develop inner strength and improve wellbeing. The classes are small allowing for Ruth to focus her attention on each individual. In addition Ruth offers one to one consultations for those wanting a specialist package.

 

Ruth undertook extensive study including qualifications in basic, intermediate and advanced mat pilates, pre and postnatal exercise, small equipment and orthopaedic conditions. Ruth is a member of the registered exercise professionals. Ruth’s specialism lies in her ability to combine her deep understanding of physiology at a molecular level and anatomy to provide her clients with specialist bespoke Pilates tuition.

 

Pilates is a form of exercise which aims to strengthen and support the body with particular emphasis on core strength, fitness and wellbeing.  Pilates has something to offer people of all ages, levels of ability and fitness from beginners to elite athletes it can help improve posture, muscle tone, flexibility, balance and joint mobility as well as relieving stress and tension.


As we age our bodies change, we natural become less flexible and our posture, strength and balance can often become affected. Pilates is designed to combat, prevent and often reverse some of the aspects of ageing which benefit both body and mind.

 

The Studio Pilates at Ruth Green Nutrition provides unique and exciting bespoke classes and one to one tuition. Ruth Works closely with chiropractors, physio’s, massage therapist, osteopaths and GPs to ensure a safe and effective service is provided for all clients at The Studio Pilates.
